When I found their web site, we had already failed to find a mortgage solution through another broker, who has introduced us to a lender they felt was appropriate for our situation but, despite quickly receiving an Acceptance In Principle, they rejected our full application. This left us in a position where we felt that we would not be able to obtain a mortgage at all. However, our hopes were raised as soon as I began talking with Louise at Click. She made it clear from the beginning that all was not lost for us – but equally importantly for us, she would not create false hope for us. Her initial research suggested there may be no solution for us as we had a very difficult credit history, caused by reasons beyond our control as we had faced severe historical financial difficulty when we lost our business in the 2010 economic crash. However, Louise did not give up and a day or two later she came back to us and said there was a likely solution if we could increase our deposit. We were able to do this and we quickly had a new Acceptance In Principle from a lender who would look at our case as humans, not just be automated credit scoring. The process through to receiving a mortgage offer did take a few weeks, but we were looked after brilliantly by Keelie, and both Louise and Keelie were always there to help with our questions as well as provide genuine moral support during the ups and downs of the process. At all time, Keelie kept us posted with progress and what to expect next, both in terms of timing and the questions to expect. We were guided through the whole process. Click understood just how much getting this mortgage meant to us and cared about getting the result for us as much as we cared about it ourselves.
